The Totally Awesome Mini-Quest Show

This week's discussion: Fear of Change!

Forget those perfectly curated influencer feeds – we're Lisa-Marie Cabrelli of Call for Heroines and Suzanna Quintana of The Totally Awesome After, two authentic Gen X women who've navigated the questionable fashion choices, the big hair, the dial-up era, (NEED more Gen X stuff here - you’re good at that!) and now, the existential challenge of figuring out your Extraordinary Life. We're not selling you some unattainable dream; we're in the trenches with you, just trying to flip the script one mini-quest at a time.

🗝️ The "Change Daredevil" Quest!

🎬 Your Quest Action:

This week, channel your inner Gen X daredevil by completing a mini "Change Dare" each day. You’ll intentionally shake things up in tiny, joyful ways to build your "change muscles."

Step-by-step:

  1. Identify 7 small, fun "Change Dares": These should be easy yet slightly outside your comfort zone.
    Examples:

    • Wear something completely out of character or adventurous.

    • Change your morning routine (try new coffee shop, playlist, or activity).

    • Take an alternative route home without GPS.

    • Take 15 minutes every morning and do something for yourself.

    • Say “No” to at least three requests

    • Post an opinion or story you've hesitated to share publicly.

    • Join or attend an event you've been curious about.

  2. Assign each dare to a specific day of the week.

  3. Complete one "Change Dare" each day, tracking your feelings and reactions.

💡 Immediate Tangible Result:

By the end of the week, you should immediately notice a shift: less anxiety around uncertainty, and more confidence in your ability to adapt and even enjoy small, playful changes. You'll see you're stronger, bolder, and more resilient than you realized!

📊 How to Track Progress:

Come back to the post as often as you wish and use the comments. Each day, briefly note:

  • What you did for your Change Dare.

  • How you felt before and after.

  • A quick rating (1-5 stars) for how empowering the dare felt. (optional)

Seeing your progress visually each day will reinforce your growing bravery and adaptability. At week's end, you’ll have a personal snapshot proving your ability to embrace change.
