So, I wanted to post my own "Day One" experience. My Change Dare was to announce and implement my rebranding. Before my rebranding, I felt like something in my Substack was "off." It wasn't a great representation of who I am and what I stand for. I mean, I'm a "choose your own path and get it done" kind of woman, not a "wander around looking pretty" kind of woman, and I thought my visuals and messaging were vague.
But I was afraid. I was worried that a rebranding would push people away and ruin all the hard work I had put into my Substack so far.
How do I feel now that I have completed my Change Dare? I feel relieved that it's out, but I don't yet have any data to prove if I made a big mistake. So, I'm still a bit nervous, even though I know the visuals, messaging, and plan for what I want my Substack to be are more authentic.
How did your Day One go? Did you complete your challenge?

Love love love.
Change doesn’t look like it used to.
The world has lost its godamn mind, social media has ruined the world, that kind of change
we can’t control has been the change that gives me the most anxiety.
I am happiest when I take in the most minimalist in news and tech.
But I am just tired cause tech makes us do more than we need to.
We were never supposed to be this busy.
Christ on a cracker I’d love to be bored. 🤣 then I’d have less anxiety
Maybe your change dare could be to remove all tech from your life for a week. That's a scary ask.
We all need to read the book ‘Adapt’ by Andrea Clarke. It’s a must in 2025 and anticipating change beyond.
Thanks, Sophie! I will look that up.
