The Totally Awesome Mini-Quest Show Recap!
Fear-Busting, Friendship Rescues, and Thelma & Louise 2.0?
This week on The Totally Awesome Mini-Quest Show, Lisa-Marie from Call for Heroines and Suzanna from The Totally Awesome After welcomed special guest Elisa Kennedy-Jones, creator of The Empress, Gotham Girl, and now Empress Editions.
Elisa bravely tackled the weekly mini-quest by slowing down her perfectionism, boldly asking for help (yes, really!), and discovering a hidden art installation celebrating fierce but tiny female scientists—just by changing her usual walking route!
Meanwhile, Suzanna found herself starring in her own version of Thelma and Louise (minus the cliff dive, thank goodness!). This week, she rescued her lifelong friend from burnout and whisked her off to her Mexican beach sanctuary. Their adventure sparked a lively discussion about how midlife women often shrink under outdated expectations, and the radical power in rewriting our narratives (and endings!).
Lisa-Marie shared her epic "Fear of Change" week, revamping her branding to authentically represent her practicality and tough-love approach to helping women despite initial anxieties. The result? Proof that even coaches sometimes need a bravery boost.
TL;DR: Small changes create massive revelations, midlife friends can become heroic rescuers, and embracing authenticity is always worth the fear. Also, Thelma and Louise deserved a happier ending—just saying.
Join the fun next week, when we discuss a new Gen X midlife topic and assign another mini-quest for you, us, and our special guest.
