Thank you. Im in the messy middle of a mid-life transformation and tired of being sold so “8 week career clarity” workbook, $4000 coaching program etc. No shade to anyone who genuinely helping people thrive but I find that we’ve obsessed with optimization over connecting to your own true north. Im looking forward to submitting and hopefully joining the salon.
I feel like you're really on to something here (and obviously othera agree with you too). As women we are taught to follow rules and then police them "be nice" and "use your manners so everyone feels comfortable." No mess, no hard edges and no fuss.
It pulls us away from our intuition and inner wisdom. The more advice and frameworks we are given the harder it is to find our inner voice....
Oh yes... it's on and I'm in. Thank you for reclaiming the integrity of our human endeavor... as coaches, we don't form anything but space. And mostly, in my experience, that means inviting a look around to the huge and little accomplishments gathered on the path as well as the huge and little failures fueling the steps taken. I love you for your pivot. And I'm inspired to listen in! Thank you!
Haha, wow the universe is an interesting place to live when you're prepared to put it out there and listen for the responses. I've been spending the last 12 months searching, uncovering, revealing, discovering how exactly my life has been severely impacted by having different wiring to many others. And that the different wiring is so unacceptable for most (what do you mean you can quiet your mind?? Don't you have a squadron of 16 highly caffeinated squirrels playing quidditch in your head 24/7?) So for the last 12 months I've been on a journey of figuring it all out (read that as WTF do I do now?) and am in the throes of completing a program called 'Taking Step Zero - What does your inner voice say?' Or at least that's the current working title, lets see what comes up in the next few days. Anyway, short story long, I spend all my time on-line, have exactly the types of groups you're talking about from time to time, and love it. Salon is the perfect description of it too!
I love this! What a fantastic creative transition. Empowering instead of fixing. Encouragement to find our own wisdom.
I remember decades ago, I stopped reading self-help books, saying to myself, “If you’re not living it now, what makes you think you’ll find it in yet another self-help book?” The wisdom is inside ourselves when we stop to listen.
I love this so much. I’m over being coached mentored. At almost 50, I am who I am but more importantly I’m leaning into who I’m becoming and it’s been an interesting self discovery and I went to focus so much more on her. This house if life is filled with so many mixed emotions. It really is a curation of feelings and things.. love this so much. You put words to how I’ve been feeling. Thank you
I wonder if you would consider another part of the salon where women can ask advice in a safe place like I wanna ask advice from African-American women
on how I can communicate genuinely in public that I am an ally - aside from a genuine smile and eye contact (which i provide to ANYONE if/when warranted)
this is an aspect of feminism I feel - but their is a divide or gap or chasm
aside from just all of us being human beings and alive in this moment- as THE foundational connection
I feel like womanhood (whether by choice or chance) is the power that connects women
and motherhood (if chosen) and daughterhood is the power that connects women again - deeper
I wouldn’t include sisterhood with the above bc not all of us have sisters or siblings
and everything else after that doesn’t matter to me (race, religion, creed, class, culture, marital status, dog lover, cat lover)
and I don’t know how to communicate it 😘🙏🏻🌟💁🏼♀️❤️🩹🤍💙🙌🏻🌟 now is the time to learn bc women need each-other more than ever right now and the next decade or so - will get rockier - we need to become steady TOGETHER
Maybe it’s the full moon - I was JUST talking about this on a podcast. We don’t need to fix. We don’t need a fifty document coaching program. We need conversation and community and maybe even a little hand-holding. Love this idea.

I can't wait to read what you write and/or meet you, Bladian.
This is so needed! I love this so much. Thank you for putting it out into the world.
I'm thrilled it resonated, Sam.
You’re not a building project. You’re a museum collection that needs better curation.....YESSSSSSS!
Yes we are, Maryellen!

We've spent our lives pleasing people, Sarah. Maybe it's time to please ourselves.

Thank you for what you’re creating here.
You are so right, Ginni. We have to remember to listen.
"The work isn’t adding more to the collection. It’s deciding what to put on display."
This quote says it all for me @Lisa Marie. 💙
I'm happy it resonated, Linda.
I called, the Universe answered. This kind of space is just what I've wanted. Thank you!!
The universe is listening, Tina.
I'm all in.

I'm thrilled this piece resonated. It's been a long time coming for me.
Absolutely wonderful humanness in beautiful autumn dress!
Be More Human. My new mantra.
Thanks for your feedback, Megan. And I'd be thrilled to have you listen in.
I love this

Brilliant. Absolutely ready for this.
